On top of the fare you pay gratuities of SGD 27 to 40 per guest per night on the StarDream ships, port charges, and on Genting Dream a SGD 10 per guest per night fuel surcharge for bookings made from 1 October 2026.

For most people, yes. Two nights gives you one day, either at sea or in one port. Three nights gives you two port days, or a port day plus a sea day, and enough time to see the full show line-up and try a specialty restaurant. The extra night usually costs far less than the first two.

Genting Dream, Navigator of the Seas and Disney Adventure sail from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, 61 Marina Coastal Drive. Star Voyager usually sails from Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, 5 Harbourfront Avenue. They are on opposite sides of the city, so check the terminal on your ticket.

Every guest needs a passport valid at least six months beyond the sailing date. Malaysia and Thailand set their own entry rules by nationality, and they apply even for a day ashore. Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa to start the trip — we handle that.

Mostly midweek. Genting Dream departs Tuesdays at 1:00pm, Star Voyager on Sundays at 8:00pm and some Tuesdays, Navigator of the Seas on Mondays at 4:00pm and Disney Adventure on Mondays. That means one or two days of leave rather than a free weekend — worth checking before you fall in love with a date.

Very. Two port days keep older children interested, and all four ships run kids clubs included in the fare. If your children are under five, the Disney three-night or a single-port sailing is gentler than two back-to-back shore days.

For eating ashore, any sailing that calls at Penang. For eating on board, Genting Dream has the widest choice and the only certified halal-friendly setup from Singapore. Disney Adventure has six rotational restaurants, which no other ship here matches.

Phuket sailings and school-holiday dates go first, and connecting cabins go before anything else. For Deepavali, Christmas and Chinese New Year, book as soon as your dates are fixed. Outside those, six to eight weeks is usually enough.
