She does not sail from Marina Bay
Star Voyager berths at Singapore Cruise Centre, HarbourFront — 5 Harbourfront Avenue, Singapore 099549, connected to HarbourFront MRT through VivoCity. Genting Dream and Disney Adventure use Marina Bay, so guests who have cruised before regularly turn up at the wrong terminal.
Three sailings are the exception and do leave from Marina Bay Cruise Centre: 11 and 18 November and 26 December 2026. Your cruise ticket is the final word, and we flag the terminal in every quote.
The short answer
Star Voyager is the short-break ship of the Singapore fleet. Her Southeast Asia season runs 25 September 2026 to 1 January 2027, with 34 departures still open from Singapore across one, two, three and four nights.
She is mid-size — 1,944 guests (lower berth) against 3,352 on Genting Dream and about 6,700 on Disney Adventure. Less to do on a long voyage, but far less walking and queuing on a two-night one, which is exactly what she runs.
She also reaches ports the bigger ships skip: Pulau Pangkor, Langkawi and Melaka. And several sailings are one-way between Singapore and Malaysia, which nothing else from Singapore offers.

Star Voyager's cabins vary more than most ships — the same category can sleep two or five depending on the bedding. This is what we check before holding one.

Most Star Voyager sailings leave from Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, not Marina Bay. The 11 and 18 November and 26 December 2026 sailings use Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Your ticket is the final word — and we flag it in every quote.

Where does Star Voyager depart from in Singapore?
Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, 5 Harbourfront Avenue, Singapore 099549 — not Marina Bay Cruise Centre, which is where Genting Dream and Disney Adventure sail from. HarbourFront MRT connects straight through VivoCity. Three sailings are the exception and use Marina Bay: 11 and 18 November and 26 December 2026.
How long is the Star Voyager season from Singapore?
The current Southeast Asia season runs from 25 September 2026 to 1 January 2027, with departures from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang, and Melaka. StarCruises moves this ship between Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong by season, so dates beyond that window are announced later.
Which Star Voyager cruise is the most popular?
Three stand out: the 2-night Weekend Getaway on Fridays, the 2-night Kuala Lumpur sailing on Wednesdays, and the 3-night Kuala Lumpur and Penang sailing on Sundays. They run most often and sell out first during school holidays.
What is a one-way cruise, and should I book one?
On a one-way sailing you board in Singapore and disembark in Malaysia, or the reverse, and the ship replaces a flight or a long drive. They are usually one night and priced attractively. The catch is the return leg — you arrange your own flight, coach or a second sailing. We plan that with you so nobody is stranded.
How much are gratuities on Star Voyager?
SGD 27 per guest per night for Interior and Oceanview staterooms, SGD 33 for Balcony and SGD 40 for The Palace. They are added to your onboard account and waived for children under two.
How much does Wi-Fi cost?
Standard Wi-Fi for one device is SGD 24 on a 2-night cruise and SGD 36 on a 3-night. Premium for one device is SGD 36 and SGD 54. Multi-device packages cost less per device, and buying before you sail is cheaper than buying on board.
Is there halal food on board?
The Lido buffet on Deck 14 offers halal options on request. That is a request-based arrangement, not the certified halal-friendly setup that Genting Dream runs — if certified halal dining matters to your family, we will say so and point you there.
Is Star Voyager good for families?
Yes, for a short trip. The Little Dreamers Club covers ages 2 to 12, there is a teen space, water slides, a rock wall and a zipline. She is smaller than Genting Dream and Disney Adventure, so there is less to do on a long sailing — which is exactly why the 2 and 3-night itineraries suit her.
Do I need a passport for the weekend cruise with no port call?
Yes. Every guest needs a passport valid at least six months beyond the sailing date, including Singapore citizens and children.
Can guests from India or Malaysia book with you?

Star Voyager or Genting Dream?
Genting Dream is bigger, has more to do and runs a certified halal-friendly galley. Star Voyager is smaller, cheaper, and reaches ports Genting Dream does not — Pangkor, Langkawi and Melaka — on sailings as short as one night. For a first cruise with a big family, Genting Dream. For a cheap weekend or an unusual port, Star Voyager.
How far ahead should I book?
The one-night and weekend sailings sell out quickest because they are cheap and capacity is small. For school holidays, Deepavali and Christmas, book as soon as your dates are fixed.
