Star Voyager's Singapore season runs to 1 January 2027, and this page lists every remaining sailing with its dates and port times, straight from StarCruises' current schedules — Singapore V9 (16 September 2026) and Malaysia V6 (15 September 2026). Cruises run from 1 to 4 nights to Melaka, Port Klang for Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Pulau Pangkor, Langkawi, Phuket and Krabi. Fares move with demand on this ship, so instead of printing a number that goes stale we set out exactly what you pay on top of the fare, and quote live for your date.
Quick answer: The 2-night Friday weekend cruise is the cheapest way to try it; the 3-night Kuala Lumpur and Penang sailing is the best value per port day; the 4-night on 26 December is the only Langkawi itinerary of the season. Add gratuities of SGD 27 to 40 per guest per night, and check whether the SGD 10 per night fuel surcharge applies to your booking. Most sailings leave from Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, not Marina Bay.

On the 29 November sailing the ship reaches Penang at 11am and leaves at 7pm, returning to Singapore on the Wednesday at 6pm. The 26 December departure is the only 4-night of the season and the only one that calls at Langkawi — it uses Marina Bay Cruise Centre, and it sells out first.
1-night one-way sailings (the cheapest way to cruise)
Nothing else from Singapore does this: you board in one country and get off in another, using the ship as transport and hotel in one. You arrange your own flight or coach back, which is why the fares are the lowest on the schedule.

Two things to plan: the return leg, and your documents. Kuala Lumpur to Singapore flights are frequent and cheap, and the coach takes about five hours. We build the return into the quote so nobody is stranded.

Thailand only appears in December, and only from Port Klang. If Phuket or Krabi is the reason you are booking, those five December dates are the whole season. Note the 9 and 16 November sailings arrive at Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore rather than HarbourFront.

How Star Voyager pricing works
We do not publish a fixed fare table for this ship, and you should be sceptical of pages that do. StarCruises prices by demand and the one-night sailings in particular move week to week. What we can tell you is exactly what drives the number, and what lands on your bill afterwards.
What moves the fare:
- Cabin grade — Interior, Oceanview, Balcony, then the Palace suites, which roughly double the fare.
- The date — school holidays, the year-end weeks and the 26 December sailing carry the highest fares of the season.
- How early you book — the cheapest cabin grades sell first, so late bookers pay for a higher grade rather than getting a discount.
- Occupancy — fares are per person on twin share; solo travellers pay a supplement, and third and fourth guests in a cabin are usually cheaper.

Gratuities are waived for children under two, and Palace suites include a standard Wi-Fi package. Port charges are additional, and StarDream applied a fuel surcharge of SGD 10 per guest per night to new bookings made from 1 October 2026 — ask us to confirm whether it applies to your sailing, because it is billed onboard rather than shown in the advertised fare. Shore excursions and Wi-Fi are cheaper when pre-booked before you sail.

Cabins in short
Interior and Oceanview cabins run 12.5 to 21 sqm and some take up to five guests, which is rare on Singapore ships and the reason larger families end up on this one. Documents, ports and practical planning
- Passport valid six months beyond the sailing date for every guest, including infants and Singapore citizens.
- Submit the SG Arrival Card online within three days before arriving in Singapore. Residents are not exempt.
- Check visas for every port, not just Singapore. Malaysia is visa-free for Indian passport holders for 30-day stays until 31 December 2026; Thailand has its own rules for the December sailings.
- Mandatory online check-in closes 48 hours before departure.
- Check which terminal is on your ticket. HarbourFront for most sailings; Marina Bay on 11 and 18 November and 26 December.
- One-way sailings need a return plan — flight, coach or a second sailing. Build it in before you book.

From Singapore: a 2-night weekend high-seas cruise on Fridays, 2-night cruises to Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Melaka or Pulau Pangkor, 3-night cruises combining Penang with Kuala Lumpur, Melaka or Pangkor, a 4-night Langkawi, Pangkor and Kuala Lumpur sailing on 26 December, and 1-night one-way sailings to Port Klang or Melaka.
How much does a Star Voyager cruise cost?
StarCruises prices Star Voyager by demand, so fares move week to week and no fixed table is reliable. On top of the fare you pay gratuities of SGD 27 per guest per night for Interior and Oceanview cabins, SGD 33 for Balcony and SGD 40 for Palace suites, plus port charges and any Wi-Fi or drinks package. Is there a fuel surcharge on Star Voyager?
StarDream Cruises applied a fuel surcharge of SGD 10 per guest per night to new bookings made from 1 October 2026, billed to your onboard account rather than shown in the advertised fare. Confirm whether it applies to your specific sailing before you budget.
Which terminal does Star Voyager use in Singapore?
Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront for almost all sailings. The exceptions this season are 11 and 18 November and 26 December, which use Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Check the terminal printed on your ticket.
When does Star Voyager go to Phuket and Krabi?
Only in December, and only from Port Klang. The dates are a 3-night Phuket and Krabi sailing on 5, 8 and 22 December, a 2-night Krabi cruise on 18 December and a 2-night Phuket cruise on 20 December. There are no Thailand calls on the Singapore departures this season.
How long do you get ashore in each port?
Roughly 10 to 11 hours in Melaka, 9 to 12 hours at Port Klang for Kuala Lumpur, 8 to 9 hours in Penang, 10 hours at Pulau Pangkor, 8 hours in Langkawi (afternoon into the night), 8 hours in Phuket at Patong Bay and 9 to 10 hours in Krabi with an early morning arrival.
Which Star Voyager cruise is best value?
The 3-night Kuala Lumpur and Penang sailing gives two port days, with about nine hours in Port Klang and eight in Penang, and Penang is a walk-off port with no transfer needed. For the lowest total cost, the 2-night Friday weekend cruise has no port charges for shore days and needs no annual leave.
Can I do a one-way cruise between Singapore and Malaysia?
Yes. Star Voyager runs 1-night one-way sailings in both directions, such as Singapore to Port Klang on 27 September and 4, 11 and 25 October, and Port Klang to Singapore on 11, 25 and 29 December. They are the cheapest fares of the season, but you arrange your own flight or coach for the return leg.
Does Star Voyager sail from Malaysia?
Yes, from Port Klang and Melaka. Options include 1-night sailings to Singapore, 3-night Penang and Singapore cruises, 2-night Krabi and Phuket sailings in December, a 3-night Phuket and Krabi cruise, and a 4-night Singapore, Langkawi and Pangkor sailing on 25 December.
When is the 4-night Star Voyager cruise?
26 December 2026 from Singapore, calling at Langkawi, Pulau Pangkor and Kuala Lumpur before returning on 30 December. It is the only 4-night sailing of the season, the only Langkawi itinerary, and it departs from Marina Bay Cruise Centre. It sells out early.
What is included in the Star Voyager fare?
Your cabin, meals at The Lido, Sophia and The North Star Dining Room, the pools, Aqua Park and water slides, the Adventure Park, lawn bowls and shuffleboard, the gym, and the Zodiac Theatre shows. Specialty restaurants, drinks, Wi-Fi, spa treatments, the casino, shore excursions and gratuities are extra.
How far in advance should I book Star Voyager?
As early as you can for the 26 December 4-night sailing, the December Thailand dates and any school-holiday weekend, because the cheapest cabin grades go first. Online check-in is mandatory and closes 48 hours before departure.
What documents do I need?
