The short answer
Navigator of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's first ship to call Singapore home. Her season opens in late October 2026 at Marina Bay Cruise Centre, and the schedule is built around short sailings: 2 nights at sea, 3 nights to Penang, 4 nights to Penang and Phuket, and 5 nights adding Langkawi.
She is the thrill ship of the Singapore fleet. The Blaster is the longest waterslide at sea, Riptide sends you headfirst out over the side, the FlowRider surf simulator is included in your fare, and Studio B has a real ice rink with skating shows — nothing else sailing from Singapore has that combination.
The trade-off is honest: fares usually sit above Genting Dream, and there is no certified halal galley. If those matter more than the slides, we will say so.

2 Nights Weekend Getaway At sea, no port call
A short taste of the ship for Singapore residents — the slides, the ice show and the pool deck, without a port day.
3 Nights Penang One port day, one sea day
The easiest long-weekend cruise — an afternoon and evening in George Town, then a full sea day to use the ship.
4 Nights Penang and Phuket Two port days
The most-booked sailing of the season: Penang for food, Phuket for beaches, and a sea day to recover.

In Phuket the ship tenders to Patong Beach between October 2026 and March 2027, and uses the Deep Sea Port from May to October 2027. A few departures swap Penang for Kuala Lumpur or add Ho Chi Minh City — check your confirmation.

Royal Caribbean fares move daily with demand, so a printed price here would be wrong within a week. What does not change is the list of charges that land on top.

Six categories cover almost every booking from Singapore. The notes below are what we check before holding a cabin for you.

The lowest fare on board, and dark enough for children to nap after a port day.
Ask us for one away from the lift lobby and not directly under the pool deck.

A bay window looking down on the Royal Promenade — fun for first-timers and families.
Noisier during parades and late-night events. Not for light sleepers.

Daylight and a sea view, usually a small step up from Interior.

Halal and other special meal requests can be logged on your booking and the Main Dining Room will do its best, but if certified halal dining matters to your family we will say so honestly and point you to Genting Dream instead.

Before you sail
- Complete online check-in in the Royal Caribbean app and pick an arrival window
- Passport valid at least six months beyond your sailing date, for every guest
- Check Malaysia and Thailand entry rules for your nationality
- Submit the SG Arrival Card within three days of returning to Singapore
- Book FlowRider slots, shows and specialty dining in the app once onboard
Booking from India
The cruise, Singapore hotels, city tours and transfers come on one INR invoice with GST from our Indian company (GSTIN 05AFKFS2786L1ZC), and we guide Indian passport holders through the Singapore visa. Fly in at least one night early — a delayed flight means a missed ship, and the cruise line will not hold her.

When does Navigator of the Seas start sailing from Singapore?
Her Singapore season opens in late October 2026 with a 4-night Penang and Phuket sailing on 29 October, after an 11-night repositioning cruise from Tokyo that arrives on 18 October 2026. Short 2, 3, 4 and 5-night sailings then run through the season, with further departures published into 2027.
Which short itineraries does she sail from Singapore?
Four: a 2-night weekend getaway with no port call, a 3-night Penang sailing, a 4-night Penang and Phuket sailing, and a 5-night Penang, Langkawi and Phuket sailing. The 4-night is the most booked.
Where does Navigator of the Seas depart from in Singapore?
Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, 61 Marina Coastal Drive. The nearest MRT is Marina South Pier, though most guests take a taxi or a private transfer with luggage.
What is not included in the cruise fare?
Gratuities of roughly USD 16 per guest per night for standard staterooms and USD 18.50 for suites, plus taxes and port expenses, drinks packages, Wi-Fi, specialty restaurants, shore excursions and the spa. Meals in the Main Dining Room, Windjammer, Café Promenade and El Loco Fresh are included, as are the pools, slides, FlowRider, rock wall and theatre shows.
Do I need a passport and visas?
Yes. Every guest needs a passport valid at least six months beyond the sailing date. Malaysia and Thailand entry rules apply at the ports, and everyone entering Singapore must submit the SG Arrival Card online within three days of arrival. Indian passport holders also need a Singapore visa, which we help arrange.
Is Navigator of the Seas good for young children?
Yes. Adventure Ocean covers ages 3 to 11 and is included in the fare, teens get their own spaces, and the pool deck and slides keep older children busy. Under-threes are not in the clubs, so plan around nap times on sea days.
Is the food halal?
There is no certified halal galley on Navigator. Special meal requests can be noted on your booking, but if certified halal dining matters to your family, Genting Dream is the better choice from Singapore and we will tell you so.
Navigator of the Seas or Genting Dream — which should I book?
Navigator wins on thrills and sea-day activity: the two waterslides, the FlowRider and the ice rink have no equal sailing from Singapore. Genting Dream usually wins on fare, on port days in a short sailing, and on halal dining. Tell us who is travelling and we will compare both for your dates.
Can guests from India book the cruise with hotels and tours?
Yes. We are an Indian travel company, so the cruise, Singapore hotels, city tours and transfers come on one INR invoice with GST, and we guide you through the Singapore visa process.
How far ahead should I book?
School-holiday, Christmas and Chinese New Year sailings fill first, especially connecting cabins and balconies. For those, book as soon as your dates are fixed. For an ordinary 3 or 4-night sailing, four to eight weeks ahead is usually enough.
