What a Disney Adventure cruise actually is
She is a cruise to nowhere. Disney Adventure leaves Marina Bay Cruise Centre and comes back to it without calling anywhere — the ship is the destination. That is unusual, and it is the single most important thing to understand before you book.
Sailings are 3 nights on Mondays and 4 nights on Thursdays, year-round. Disney publishes fares from about USD 958 for two guests on the 3-night and USD 1,318 on the 4-night, including taxes, fees and port expenses. Gratuities of roughly USD 16 per guest per night sit on top.
Because there are no ports, everything rests on what is on board: seven themed areas, Disney Cruise Line's first roller coaster, six rotational restaurants, Broadway-style theatre and a nightly fireworks show over the ocean. For a Disney-loving family, that is the whole point. For someone who wants a day ashore in Penang, it is the wrong ship — and we will say so.

One thing Disney regulars should know: there is no Pirate Night on Disney Adventure — the only ship in the fleet without it. The Lion King fireworks is the big evening event instead.

Disney Adventure has six rotational restaurants instead of the usual three, because she carries roughly 2,000 more guests than the next-largest Disney ship. You move through three of them on a 3 or 4-night sailing, and your serving team moves with you.

Adults get their own corners too: adult-exclusive dining, quiet lounges and a spa. Most parents tell us they barely saw their teenagers after day one, which is usually a good sign.

Four categories, and on a cruise with no ports the verandah question matters more than usual — you will actually be in the room and on the balcony.

Disney publishes its Singapore fares for two guests, including taxes, fees and port expenses. Children aged 3 to 12 are charged a child rate and teens 13 to 17 a reduced adult rate when they share your stateroom. Fares move with demand and jump for school holidays, so we quote live rather than printing a number that goes stale.

How much does a Disney Adventure cruise from Singapore cost?
Disney publishes 3-night sailings from about USD 958 and 4-night sailings from about USD 1,318 for two guests, including taxes, fees and port expenses. On top of that you pay gratuities of about USD 16 per guest per night, and anything you buy on board. School holidays and Christmas sailings cost considerably more, so we quote live for your dates.
Where does Disney Adventure sail to?
Nowhere — and that is the point. She sails round-trip from Marina Bay Cruise Centre with no port calls, so the seven themed areas, three rides and the shows carry the whole holiday. If you want port days from Singapore, Genting Dream or Navigator of the Seas will suit you better.
Which is better, the 3-night or the 4-night sailing?
The 4-night. The extra sea day gives you a second theatre show, a complete dining rotation and enough time to ride Ironcycle Test Run without rushing. The 3-night works well if leave is tight or it is a first cruise with young children.
When does Disney Adventure sail each week?
The 3-night sailing departs on Mondays and the 4-night on Thursdays, year-round from Marina Bay. Bookings are open through August 2027; Disney has not yet released September to December 2027 dates.
Is Disney Adventure worth it compared with Genting Dream?
For Disney-loving families, usually yes — the theming, the rides and the fireworks are on a different level. For families who mainly want a cheap short break or a day ashore in Penang or Phuket, Genting Dream gives more holiday per dollar. We price both and tell you plainly which fits.
What is included in the fare?
Rotational dining, buffets and quick service, soft drinks and soft-serve ice cream, all three rides, the theatre shows and fireworks from public decks, the kids and teen clubs, pools and slides, and character meets. Alcohol, speciality coffee, adult-exclusive dining, the spa, photo packages and the nursery cost extra.
Do children need to be a certain age for the kids clubs?
The nursery takes six months to three years for an hourly fee. Disney's Oceaneer Club covers ages 3 to 10 and is included, but children must be toilet-independent. Edge is for 11 to 14 and Vibe for 14 to 17.
Is there halal or vegetarian food on board?
Yes. Mowgli's Eatery serves Indian food with vegetarian and halal-friendly options, and Disney handles dietary requests well when you note them on your booking and confirm with your serving team on night one. Note that this is not the same as the certified halal galley on Genting Dream.
Do I need a passport for a cruise with no port calls?
Yes. Every guest needs a passport valid at least six months beyond the sailing date, including Singapore citizens and children. Everyone entering Singapore also submits the SG Arrival Card online, up to three days before arrival.
Can families from India, Malaysia, Korea or the Philippines book through you?
Yes, and a lot do. We are an Indian travel company with a ground team in Singapore, so we can quote the cruise with hotels, transfers and city tours, invoice Indian guests in INR with GST, and guide Indian passport holders through the Singapore visa.
Is room service still free?
Not fully. Since the week of 1 June 2026 most room service orders carry a USD 5 delivery fee plus an automatic 18% gratuity — Disney Adventure is the first ship in the fleet to charge. Door-hanger breakfast and Concierge guests are exempt.
How far ahead should I book?
Earlier than you would for other ships. Verandah and Concierge rooms on school-holiday, Christmas and Chinese New Year sailings go months ahead, and connecting rooms go first of all.
