Genting Dream sails round-trip from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore all year, on 2-night weekend and Melaka or Port Klang sailings and 3-night Phuket or Penang sailings, plus one 5-night Bali and Lombok voyage on 13 December 2026. 81 departures are still open on the current schedule.
A 2-night cruise typically starts near SGD 299 per person twin-share in an Interior stateroom. On top of the fare you pay gratuities of SGD 27–40 per guest per night, port charges, and — for bookings made from 1 October 2026 — a SGD 10 per guest per night fuel surcharge. Every guest needs a passport with six months' validity, even on the weekend sailing that never calls at a port.
She is also the only ship sailing from Singapore with an OIC/SMIIC standard halal-friendly setup, which is why she is the default choice for many Muslim families in Singapore, Malaysia and India.

A fuel surcharge of SGD 10 per guest, per night applies to new bookings made on or after 1 October 2026. It is charged to your onboard account, not added to the advertised fare. Ask us to include it in your quote so the total is clear before you book.

Fuel surcharge fully waived on Singapore and Malaysia sailings
StarDream Cruises waived the surcharge completely for Genting Dream and Star Voyager sailings from Singapore and Malaysia as fuel prices stabilised. Taiwan and Hong Kong sailings were reduced by half.

Cabins and The Palace
Two guests can pay the same fare and have very different trips depending on deck and position. This is what we check before holding a cabin for you.

If you live in Singapore on a Work Permit, Employment Pass, Long Term Pass, Student Pass, Dependant Pass or re-entry permit, carry it with your passport.

Onboard accounts are in Singapore dollars. Reception on Deck 6 MID accepts most major cards and e-wallets.

Everyone entering Singapore must submit the SG Arrival Card online, up to three days before arrival.

Two things Indian guests get wrong
Arriving on sailing day. A delayed flight means a missed ship, and the cruise line will not hold her. Fly in at least one night early — we build that into the quote.
Passport validity. Six months from the sailing date, not from today. Renew before you book if you are close to the line.
Also worth knowing: onboard accounts are settled in Singapore dollars, and the ship's casino is closed while she is alongside in port.

How much does a Genting Dream cruise from Singapore cost?
A 2-night sailing usually starts around SGD 299 per person in an Interior stateroom on twin-share, with Balcony from roughly SGD 478 and The Palace from about SGD 1,099. On top of the fare you pay gratuities of SGD 27 to 40 per person per night, port charges, and a fuel surcharge of SGD 10 per guest per night on bookings made from 1 October 2026. Specialty restaurants, drinks packages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, the spa and gratuities are extra.
How much is Wi-Fi on Genting Dream?
Standard Wi-Fi for one device costs SGD 24 for a 2-night cruise and SGD 36 for 3 nights. Premium for one device is SGD 36 and SGD 54. Multi-device packages cost less per device, and pre-purchasing before you sail is usually cheaper than buying onboard. The Palace suites include a Wi-Fi package.
How much are gratuities on Genting Dream?
SGD 27 per guest per night for Interior and Oceanview staterooms, SGD 33 for Balcony, and SGD 40 for The Palace. They are added to your onboard account and waived for children under two.
Is there still a fuel surcharge?
It changed twice in 2026. A SGD 15 per night surcharge started on 20 March, was fully waived for Singapore and Malaysia sailings from 26 June, and a SGD 10 per guest per night charge applies to new bookings made from 1 October 2026. Any quote we send you states the current position for your booking date.
Can Indian travellers book this cruise with a Singapore package?
Yes. We are an Indian travel company, so guests from India can book the cruise together with Singapore hotels, city tours and transfers on one INR invoice with GST, and we guide you through the Singapore visa process.
Do Singaporeans pay the casino entry levy on board?
No. The casino levy applies to the two land-based casinos in Singapore, not to cruise ships in international waters. Photo identification is needed to enter the onboard casino, and it stays closed while the ship is in port.
Which itinerary should I pick for a first cruise?
For a first sailing with children, the 2-night Melaka or weekend cruise is the easiest. For a proper day ashore, the 3-night Phuket sailing gives you an afternoon, evening and full morning in port. The 5-night Bali and Lombok sailing on 13 December 2026 is the only long voyage this season.
How far ahead should I book?
For June and November to December school holidays, Chinese New Year and Christmas sailings, as early as your dates are fixed — connecting cabins and quiet balconies go first. For an ordinary weekend sailing, four to eight weeks ahead is usually enough.
