This guide breaks down StarDream Rewards—often searched as Genting Dream Rewards—so you know exactly how Genting Dream member points work, what to expect at each tier, and how to unlock perks with the least effort. Membership is free for guests 18+; simply sign up on the official site to start earning.

At-a-Glance: How the Program Works

  • Two-point types: Tier Points (TP) decide your membership level; Rewards Points (RP) offset onboard spend. TP have no monetary value and expire at tier review or 6 months after earning (whichever comes first). RP are valid 12 months and redeem at $1 value per 1 RP in the ship’s onboard currency.
  • Where points come from: Earn from selected onboard outlets and online cruise bookings on the StarDream Cruises website (log in first).
  • Earning rate: 1 TP + 5 RP for every $100 spent in the respective onboard currency.
  • Show your card: Present your physical membership card at onboard reception when paying to earn or redeem.
  • Posting time: Website bookings post immediately upon payment confirmation; onboard spend posts within 24 hours after cruise end.

Tier Upgrade Requirements (Within 6 Months)

You need to collect the required Tier Points within 6 months from your last tier review date. Because TP are earned at 1 TP per $100, you can estimate spend quickly.

  • Star Navigator (Taiwan itinerary): Spend NTD 380 onboard, points auto‑convert to HKD for TP/RP crediting.

How Redemption Works (Your Effective Savings)

  • Value: 1 RP = $1 in the ship’s onboard currency. With 5 RP per $100, that’s a 5% offset when you redeem later.
  • How to redeem: Show your physical membership card at onboard reception when settling eligible bills.

Quick math: Spend $500 onboard → 5 TP + 25 RP. Later, redeem 25 RP = $25 off eligible items. (All “$” values refer to onboard currency per itinerary.)


Membership Benefits & Privileges (Tier-Dependent)

Benefits are tier-based, subject to availability, and governed by program terms & conditions. The grid in your document lists the following privileges; check your member portal or onboard counters for eligibility by tier on your sailing.

  • Earn & redeem Rewards Points across eligible outlets.
  • Exclusive online redemptions for Genting Rewards Alliance (GRA) merchandise & products using RP.
  • Birthday rewards (for selected eligible members).
  • Advance reservations for spa, salon & fitness (book 2–14 working days pre-sailing via the Reservations Channel).
  • Spa one‑time privileges:
    • Upgrade a 70-minute body massage to in-room or VIP treatment room (one time).
    • Complimentary spa access (one time).
    • Complimentary 30-minute back & shoulder massage (one time).
  • Retail souvenirs:
    • Spend USD80 / SGD100 / HKD630 / NTD2,400 at in‑house retail → StarDream exclusive souvenir.
    • Spend USD50 / SGD65 / HKD400 / NTD1,500 at in‑house retail → StarDream exclusive souvenir.
  • Convenience & priority: Supplementary card application; priority queue for bill settlement at Front Office; priority access lane at selected F&B outlets.

Note: Rewards Points do not accrue on GST/VAT, service charges, visa fees, port charges.


Managing Your Account: PIN, Posting & Reversals

  • Forgot / reset PIN: Use the online reset link or reset via the StarDream Rewards M-app onboard. If you need help, contact Customer Service or visit a membership counter onboard.
  • When points post: Website bookings credit immediately after payment confirmation; onboard spend credits within 24 hours after the cruise ends. If not reflected by then, contact Customer Service.
  • Cancellations & refunds: If a cruise is cancelled and refunded, any points credited from that booking are reversed.
